The Little Montessori School
Our COVID-19 Response
Managing life during a global pandemic is challenging at any age, but especially so for young children and their families. We understand your concerns as parents as you try to protect your children while preserving their sense of normalcy. The Little Montessori School has put together a comprehensive plan to promote your child's health and safety while providing the stability your family needs. We are confident that by partnering together as a community, relying on expert advice, maintaining transparency, and actively listening to your concerns, together we can create an environment that best suits the needs of your child.
Expert Guidance
The Little Montessori School continues to actively monitor reports and guidance from health officials at the CDC, as well as the recommendations made by local, state, and federal authorities so that we can make educated, informed, and practical decisions.

We will abide by any binding orders regulating the health and safety practices of day-cares and schools. Barring any orders mandating closures, we plan to remain open throughout the school year so long as the health of our students allows.

Our Plan
To protect the well-being of our staff and the community, we are not currently offering in-person tours until after an offer of admission has been extended. For the time being, we will be offering virtual meetings and are available by phone and email. Once the school year begins, you can expect the following:

-
Our staff will undergo regular, daily temperature checks before beginning work.
-
Staff and students will wash their hands at the beginning of and throughout each day.
-
Materials and surfaces will be sanitized throughout the day as well as every evening.
Your Part
We can all work together to provide an environment of stability and safety for our children. In addition to practicing and teaching good hygiene habits, the following procedures are designed to promote a safe school environment for everyone:

-
Children will be closely monitored each day upon arrival to ensure they are well enough to attend.
-
For the time being, we will request that parents refrain from entering the school during normal hours. If you must come on campus, you may be asked to wear a mask
-
The decision to have your child wear a mask will be left to your discretion.
